my 10m old baby can't follow me this this bookthe colors are not that brightit's better for toldders
My husband loves that the stories involve a father and son for a change. While not quite as amazingly good as "Guess How Much I Love You," this book lives up to the series quite well. Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare are such endearing characters. The illustrations are just beautiful. A great book all around.
The story is simple and quite charming. In this charming little book, Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare go down by the river and look at all the pretty colors. The book itself is of the boardbook variety, so it is strong and durable, just right for little hands. There's blues and greens and reds and browns, and Big Nutbrown Hare's favorite brown is.Nutbrown.This is a very nice little book. The illustrations appear to be watercolors, and are very reminiscent of the Beatrix Potter books. My four-year-old loved having this book read to her, and I enjoyed reading it. We both highly recommend this book.
Unfortunately, this is the same book as "Guess how much I love you in Spring" by the same author. That was a disappointing surprise
The watercolors are very nice and gentle, doesn't exactly capture the eye of the very young toddler, more for a little older crowd, very cute story.
